i do plan to torture myself eventually with the canopy hinging. The forward one looks to be relatively simpe, the rear one, not so much.

It varies. This one uses either 1/8 or 1/4”. 1/4” for the gear mount structure and horizontal stab bulkhead and 1/8” for things like equipment trays.

I greased the spindle shaft on the retract and it looks like if i would of had more delay on the inner doors closing it might of gone all the way up…

Flight #2!

Left main gear is still being uncooperative, but things are getting better.

I was able to let the airplane accelerate more and it flies much better, even with one gear stuck half way...
