Default Spotlight for TongDe M60A3

After seeing how much a spotlight added to the overall look of my DKLM M60A2 build I felt my TongDe M60A3 was missing something.... a spotlight. I asked the guys at JVM3Dconcepts if they could work one up for me that would fit the TD M60A3 factory mounts. A few day later I get a call and the spotlight is ready. The first two test version needed a few tweaks but it all came together in the third version shown below.

The spotlight is not perfect in exact details to the real thing, but is a far more accurate then the base detail level of the TD M60. It does not overpower the model accuracy of the base M60 so it blends IMO well to the overall look.

Please feel free to add your thought. Also JVM3Dconcepts is willing to make these available if there is enough interested.

The basic spotlight kit.

Positioned on the M60. It was a little off do to one of the TD mounts. A little bending of the mount fixed that.

Mounts directly onto the "balls" of the factory mounting points.

Back side of first test light.

Painted to match just waiting for the clear plastic material to arrive so I can cut out and install the lens. I will post a photo of the completed and fully installed spotlight soon.

I would be interested in one or possibly 2 of them. I have a slick M60 printed and will probably be printing another M60 hull to put my A3 turret on.

Here are a few of latest version on my TD M60. I added the mirrored refractor in place of a painted one. I used the provided template to cut it.

I'm still hoping someone will bring a container full of the metal edition one's over here so we can get them with a reasonable shipping rate, so I still haven't purchased an M-60, but I will, so I would be interested in 2 of the search lights if they become available at a reasonable price.

I’d like to purchase one of these. Will a kit with everything included be available soon?

This is what the kit will consist of.

Basic spotlight kit is simply these four parts. It is a "static" kit and does not come with anything to make it "light up".

With some modification by the end user it can be made to accept an LED and wiring. The one shown on my M60A1 above (in prior thread posts) has a mirrored plastic refractor which I cut out and made to fit in place of the supplied flat part (bottom left in photo) that is intended to be painted silver and used as the refractor/lens cut out template.

I made mine shown as a "static" spotlight, it does not light up. I simply never turn the ones (other makes) I have mounted to other tanks on. So I had no need for the extra effort to be waisted this time.
